Join us for a unique hiking week end to the amazing Exmoor National Park. Hiking across the coastal paths and through idyllic woodlands

These hikes have some long ascents. You should only attend if you are a fit, regular hiker. It’s one of the most picturesque places in the UK but the hikes are not easy.

HIGHLIGHTS

· The stunning Valley of the Rocks
· Hike to the top of Dunkery Beacon (1703 feet) the highest point in Somerset
· Visit the quaint seaside towns of Lynton & Lynmouth
· Stroll through the quaint town of minehead
· Hike along the stunning Somerset coast
· The wonderful Watersmeet & East Lyn Valley

Drive to Somerset (Car share) About 3 ½ hours

SATURDAY SEPT 14th

Hike 1 VALLEY OF THE ROCKS

Distance: 18.2 km

Ascent: 490 metres

Descent: 500 metres

Time: Allow upto 6 hours

Terrain: Woodland / Pavement / Stoney paths

SUNDAY SEPT 15th

Hike 2 DUNKERY BEACON

Distance: 17 km

Ascent: 700 metres

Descent: 711 metres

Time: Allow upto 6 hours

Terrain: Woodland / Pavement / Stoney paths
