HIGHLIGHTS
We pass by Mill Hill Local Nature Reserve
Amazing views from the top of the curves and valleys of the South Downs and in the distance the iconic Lancing College with its 19th century gothic Chapel.
We walk by Shoreham Airport which stretches out across the coastal plain.
The delightful river Adur (which is tidal and becomes particularly interesting at mid-tide when the mud flats appear, attracting lots of birdlife)
In the distance we see the old Erringham Farm and from Thundersbarrow Hill, looking south towards the site of an ancient settlement. The other side of the hill contains a barrow and ancient field system.
Houseboat jetty with retired military ships which have been converted into 'artworks' by the addition of second hand vehicles

There is parking around the station. As usual get there early as slots are limited
