Talk: “Canal Mania! The Story of an Interactive Map ” by Paul Sebbage

Paul will describe and explain the growth and decline of the British canal network, then move on to talk about the online interactive canal map he has created. His work combined historic maps and modern tech to explore the lost and abandoned canals of England & Wales - there are more than you might thin, including Leominster, Croydon and Derby, and some that are now being at least partially restored, e.g. the Way & Arun. The talk will include a live demo of his interactive canal map.
