Tattenham Cornerds (11 miles, Circular)

Details
Please RSVP at our website (green button) and not here, thanks!
Join us for an 11 mile circular walk starting at Tattenham Corner Station!
We'll go out across Epsom Downs Racecourse, past Walton on the Hill, and onto Banstead Heath (avoiding any golf balls that might come our way). We'll then go to Headley for lunch and a pub-stop, and loop back over the motorway back to Tattenham via the Racecourse.
We'll also make a detour by the Regiment of Trees at Langley Vale Centenary Wood, a set of 30 stone soldiers built to commemorate the World Wars. There will also be a second optional pub stop at the Tattenham Corner pub, the namesake of this walk, at the very end.
If you're driving, there's either The Mound car parks by the station, or parking a little further away by the Racecourse, or on the housing estate. Tattenham Corner Station also has 2 trains per hour to East Croydon and into London. This is also not a race weekend, so no crowds or horses to contend with either.
You can download the GPX route here. See you there!
We've provided an automated estimate of the end time and this will be affected by many factors - please only use as a guide. The description above may also have specific notes on ending details.
