Six Hills of Alton (13 miles, Circular)

Details
Please RSVP at our website (green button) and not here, thanks!
A circular route, viewing Alton from all directions with almost 400 metres of ascent through the day.
We will alter the "standard" route slightly by starting at the station before heading up Windmill Hill and then returning to the normal start point at the Butts. We will then climb Ackender Hill, Brick Kiln Lane, Northanger Hill, Anstey Hill, Copt Hill & Neatham Down.
Due to the nature of the route there will be a mixture of footpaths and also walking back into the residential areas of Alton to get between the hills.
We will be stopping for a packed lunch and there is a planned pub stop at The White Hart about 2/3 of the way through the route.
Note that there are not many public toilets along the route!
For those getting the train there is a train from Waterloo via Woking (9:31) and Farnham (9:56). There is a train from Guildford (9:23) to Farnham to change on to the train from Woking.
We've provided an automated estimate of the end time and this will be affected by many factors - please only use as a guide. The description above may also have specific notes on ending details.
