Petersfield to Liss (11 miles, Linear)
Details
Please RSVP at our website (green button) and not here, thanks!
Much of this walk follows part of the Hangers Way, a long-distance path that lies within an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The name 'Hangar' derives from the old English 'Hangra' meaning a wooded slope. The majority of the landscape is unspoilt and remains as it was several hundred years ago. The view from the top of the Shoulder of Mutton Hill is spectacular.
This is a linear walk, starting at Petersfield train station and finishing at Liss train station.
Please bring lunch, however there will be pub stops at the Hawkley Arms half-way and The Whistle Stop in Liss.
We've provided an automated estimate of the end time and this will be affected by many factors - please only use as a guide. The description above may also have specific notes on ending details.
