BACK TO AN OLD FRIEND - SHOGUN MADISON AVE.
Details
Hi Members,
It's been quite a while since we visited Shogun. The Madison Avenue location is under new ownership and Lou is our host for this event. Special thanks to Silvia who put this program together.
He is offering a different approach to events we have had before. The cocktail hour will be tableside with a cash bar. The cocktail hour was introduced by one of our Assistant Organizers, Mike Mahar, and has proven to be a great way to reconnect between events and to meet new members. Dinner starts at 7:00 PM.
Our feature will be a choice of Hibachi (Due to limited space the Hibachi will be served tableside without the customary trained Hibachi Masters.)
You will have a choice of:
Chicken
Salmon
Shrimp
Steak
Scallops
Veggie
The dinner will obviously include all of the customary Hibachi fixins.
For those who would choose Sushi, you have the following options, regular or spicy:
Sushi regular platter
Sashimi regular platter
Veggie lovers platter.
Your meal at $30.00 will include tax, tip and soft drinks. It will also include appetizers that Lou is providing for us. If anyone wants anything else off the Shogun Menu that will be an extra charge. My choice for the dinner is going to be Hibachi and one of Shogun's Special rolls.
The waitstaff will bill you directly so you won't have me running around collecting. I'll just have a sign in sheet for attendance and hot sake in my hand while enjoying seeing old friends and meeting new ones.
New Members, and there have been quite a few lately, come early to the cocktail hour and see what we are all about. Hurry, space is limited and remember the only rule of this club is that if you sign up, show up, or change your RSVP status. This gives an accurate count to the Restaurant and a chance for waitlisted people to be able to attend. If you have trouble with the RSVP, especially on the day of the event, call me at (518) 858-5558. Keep that number in your phone for future events.
Parking on premises.
See you there!!

PS Silvia did a great job putting this program together. If any other Member wants to arrange a Meetup, let's talk.
