Kenny and his lovely wife, Yana, are ready to welcome us back to a full-course dinner, starting at 6 p.m. with a happy hour, on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at the East Greenbush, NY Asian Tea House. Dinner starts promptly at 7 p.m.

The event costs $40, tax and tip included. This is the same price we paid at our last event at this popular location.
Boozy drinks are extra. Attendance is capped at 40 people.

This venue has proven to be one of our more popular ones. For those of you who have been here before you can remember the famous hot and sour soup that is served with appetizers, then sashimi platters are presented. Not full yet? Time for sushi rolls and Nigiri. If you leave hungry it's your fault.

After dinner I have a surprise for everyone. Come and find out what I have in mind.

As all of the long time members know, the only rule of this Meetup group is that if you sign up, you SHOW up. A few years ago we had an event here that had 8 member no shows. This cost the Restaurant a lot of money for food that was already prepared. We almost lost the ability to return. This has happened to us at other places before. In order to save the events we decided to strictly enforce our attendance policy. If your plans change, just go on the site and change your RSVP. You keep our numbers accurate and might give someone on the waitlist a chance to attend. If the RSVP has closed (usually within one day of any event) please call me at 518-858-5558 if an emergency arises and you cannot honor your RSVP---no shows that miss their RSVP will be asked to pay the cost of the dinner or get removed from the club. If I can reach the restaurant in time, all is well. If I can get you a substitute if an emergency arises, all is well. If not, then prepare to pay your cost of the event. I don't know how we can make this easier. Also, making that call just hours before the event is already too late. Please plan accordingly.

We look forward to seeing you there!
