5.15 PM – 5.30 PM: Introduction by Sara Lily Perez on Arts and creativity in Sustainability, showcasing Galerie SLP’s initiatives, artists, upcoming events
5.30 PM – 5.50 PM: Inroduction to our projects and activity by Ela
5:50 PM - 6:10 PM: Interactive presentation on #BioYouToon.
6.10 PM – 6.30 PM: The resources of BioYouToon and Bio-WebToons
6:30 PM - 7.00 PM: Q&A, new ideas.
7.00 PM onwards: Networking and socializing over snacks and wine.

About the project
“Raising Youth Awareness of Biodiversity Conservation via Webtoon” (BioYouToon) is an initiative aimed at raising awareness on the importance of #Biodiversity among youth, youth NGOs and young researchers and to engage young people in biodiversity conservation actions. #Education is the key to raise the awareness. We intend to educate young people through our initiative.

Most of us have grown up watching and reading cartoons, as it is fascinating.

What if we combine our intention of educating young people on #Biodiversity with the fascinating method of cartoons? That was the spark that resulted in our #Bioyoutoon initiative. Funded by EU Erasmus+ we have evolved interesting methods to educate young people on #Biodiversity through a storytelling approach.

Through this event we’ll showcase the resources we have developed as part of the BioYouToon project, listen to your thoughts and socialize with like-minded professionals.
