What we’re about
It's like this thing another Meetup group has down in Atlanta but which I've never been able to get to. We all sit around and share our writings and then either bash each other for it or praise each other for it. But the idea is that everybody coming here will have embraced the advice of Neil Gaiman - - - (and I'm completely rewriting it here) - - - to be a successful writer you have to toss away the adult view (Some housewife in every neighborhood that I drive by is writing a novel, so why do I think my chances are any better than those 200,000 people?) and, instead, embrace the arrogance of the 20-year-old (What I'm writing is beyond anything that anyone has ever seen, and it's going to rock the fucking world).
