Let's Take-a-Hike to Preacher's Rock and beyond!
We will start our hike at Woody Gap and take a pause at Preacher's Rock which is about 1 mile from the trailhead. We will then continue on the AT to Jarrard Gap. We will take a break here and then head back the way we came. This trail is listed at 11 miles and about 2400 ft of elevation gain. This is an out and back trail so if 11 miles is too much then you can always turn around and head back to the parking lot.

We will meet at the Woody Gap parking lot. Please arrive before 9am so we have time for introductions. Note that this parking lot does fill up fast as Preacher's Rock is a popular hike. Please bring plenty of water and snacks and hiking poles are recommended.
