For many Julys, Dr. Ting BBQed lunch for the Stanford SVFIG meeting. In rememberance of this, we'll be gathering for lunch at Armidillo Willy's in Los Altos for lunch after the zoom meeting.

The 42 year old "Color Graphics Adapter" was the first color graphics device for the original IBM PC. It produced notoriously ugly graphics, but also held many secrets.
I'll use Frank Sargent's Pygmy Forth and DOSBox to explore ancient graphics tricks through the magic of emulation.
