# Silicon Valley Physical AI Builders

sve.io
Physical AI, Embodied AI, Robotics, Humanoid, Manufacturing
Welcome to Physical AI Builders, formerly known as the Silicon Valley Android Developers—one of the oldest developer groups in Silicon Valley, founded in 2008. We're the go-to community for builders, innovators, and enthusiasts shaping the future of physical AI technologies, including robotics, embodied AI, hardware–software integration, and real-world AI applications.
Our community produces the Physical AI Newsletter, the Future 50 Physical AI Builders Program, and the F50 Physical AI Summit—held in Dallas (June 11) and Silicon Valley (April 29)—to spotlight breakthrough entrepreneurs and foster global collaboration.
This group hosted the world’s first Android, HTML5, Android Wear, Chrome, and Google Watch hackathons, backed by Google, Samsung, T-Mobile, and many other leading players. We’re now building the leading ecosystem for Physical AI.
Whether you're a seasoned engineer developing intelligent robots, a startup founder exploring embodied AI opportunities, a researcher diving into AI for physical systems, or a newcomer eager to learn, this is your hub for collaboration and growth.
All are welcome—experienced developers, aspiring creators, and idea generators alike. Join us to connect, innovate, and build the next generation of physical intelligence!

Robert Schneider, Systems Architect and Co-Founder, FlexVertex Presentation: When a Physical AI System Makes a Decision — Can You Reconstruct It?
As embodied AI systems move into real-world deployment, auditability becomes a systems problem—not just a model problem. Edge-deployed SLMs and cloud-based LLMs often operate over fragmented or partially replicated state: local sensor snapshots at the edge, rehydrated logs, and asynchronously updated embeddings in the cloud.
When state diverges, reasoning can diverge. Version drift, asynchronous pipelines, and inconsistent context make deterministic replay and post-incident reconstruction difficult to guarantee.
This talk explores architectural patterns for maintaining edge–cloud consistency using structured state models, version-pinned execution traces, and replayable traversal paths. The focus is not model accuracy, but system reliability—designing physical AI systems that can explain their decisions weeks after deployment.
Robert Schneider is a systems architect and co-founder of FlexVertex, focused on graph-based state models and distributed AI infrastructure. He has authored multiple technical books and spent decades designing high-performance distributed data systems. His current work centers on deterministic replay, execution lineage, and auditability in edge-deployed AI systems.
Robert McDonnell, Founder & CEO, Anubá Technologies Robert McDonnell is the Founder & CEO of Anubá Technologies, building the perception fabric that makes physical spaces intelligent. He previously built carrier-grade infrastructure for Stanford Health and Pronto.ai, and now deploys edge AI vision systems on NVIDIA Jetson for real-time operational intelligence.
Anubá Technologies is building the perception fabric to make physical spaces intelligent. We deploy vision language models on NVIDIA Jetson edge hardware across locations like QSR restaurants, processing real-time camera feeds to extract operational intelligence—speed of service, occupancy, safety events—without sending video to the cloud.
Our platform handles the full lifecycle: edge inference, fleet orchestration, model versioning, and a closed-loop retraining pipeline from edge to cloud. We’re live in pilot with a national QSR chain, partnered with Nebius for cloud infrastructure, and integrated with ZEDEDA for fleet management.
Today’s demo shows our real-time multi-camera perception system running on production hardware at a live restaurant site.

### Startup Presentation: Yera-Tech (MegaDrone360)

Presenter: Yerlan Alimkhanov, Co-Founder & Chief Engineer, Yera-Tech
Yera-Tech is developing MegaDrone360, a multipurpose modular drone platform designed for emergency response, industrial, and defense applications (Physical AI).
The system features a patented modular architecture with a cylindrical central fuselage that serves as a structural axis, allowing quick-swappable mission modules that rotate 360°. Modules currently include firefighting (dry-powder extinguishers), night-rescue spotlights, industrial inspection sensors, delivery payloads, mobile solar power generation, and aerial entertainment (light/laser shows and fireworks). New modules can be developed rapidly for specific operator needs.
The prototype will be presented at the startup showcase.
Yerlan Alimkhanov is a Mechanical Engineer, 3D Designer, Inventor, and EB-1A visa holder for Extraordinary Ability in Engineering. He serves as Co-Founder and Chief Engineer at Yera-Tech. Website:
