Paul is a General Partner at the venture firm Subtraction Capital (subtractioncapital.com). Formerly he was a senior product and marketing executive and CMO at well-known technology, financial services and health tech focused companies Atlassian, Practice Fusion and Coupons.com (http://coupons.com/). Paul also held senior product and marketing roles at NextCard, Washington Mutual and Advanta and was an aerodynamics engineer at Boeing before there were interwebs. He is passionate about mentoring and creating best in breed product and marketing professionals that make data-driven decisions, use Agile constructs, and win important markets. This passion helped to ignite the San Francisco Agile Marketing Meetup with over 2400 members, which he co-hosts. Paul holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University, a Master's degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Stanford University, and a Future Med Certificate from Singularity University.
