Description:
Join us for a power-packed night of learning, sharing, and networking at AI Dev Day - San Francisco. We are excited to bring the AI developer community together to learn and discuss the latest trends, practical experiences, and best practices in the field of AI, LLMs, generative AI, and machine learning.
In addition to the tech talks, there will be plenty of opportunities to network with AI developers, live demos, AI community showcases, panel discussion, and career opportunities.

Tech Talk 1: Are Vector Databases Enough for Multimodal Data?

Abstract: Are Vector databases enough when working on use cases that involve multiple modalities of data like images, videos, or documents? I will present some of the use cases we encounter when talking to Data Science teams that work with complex and mixed data types, explain what’s needed from the supporting data infrastructure, describe how we are tackling this problem, and enabling comprehensive Vector Search + Classification.
Tech Talk 2: Video Understanding with Foundation Models

Abstract: This talk is for developers who are interested in building video applications using state-of-the-art multimodal foundation models. We will discuss: a) The evolution of models in language understanding and video understanding; b) video embeddings; c) video-language modeling.
