Climbing Challenge - San Elijo with a twist

It's climbing challenge time. COME ON! YOU CAN DO IT!!!
This is a group ride for beginning, intermediate and advanced female cyclists. Please be prepared to ride 32 to 41 miles with about 2,900ft to 4,900ft of climbing. Heather Bruemmer will lead the advanced cyclists, Bea Haggerty-Mills the intermediate cyclists and Kim Lyman-Zielinski the beginner cyclists along with other members from the Carbon Connection Team Fun Cycling Team. This is a fun ride and no one will be left behind, but you must be accustomed to riding this type of mileage with climbs such as these. San Elijo is a three mile climb and not for the faint of heart.
Please meet at Carbon Connection Bike shop located at 2744 Carlsbad Boulevard, Carlsbad at 7:45 am. We will leave at 8:00 am sharp, ride our designated route and end back at Carbon Connection Cylery.
Feel free to look around the shop and grab a coffee and snack at "It's a Grind" next door to the bike shop.
Road cycling attire and equipment is apropriate.
