CocoaHeads x Swift Language User Group (SLUG) | October Meetup

Please join us for this month's session together learning about Swift with talks by local members of the Swift community. We are so excited to see you all again!

📍This event will be hosted at Kandji. (See below for info on how to arrive). Space is limited due to venue capacity, so make sure to secure your spot by RSVPing early. We also ask that you update your RSVP if you end up deciding not to come, to ensure others can use that spot. Food and drinks will be offered at the venue.

💬 Tech Talks: Industry experts will deliver insightful talks on cutting-edge Swift development topics, covering topics around iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, visionOS, Server-Side Swift, and more. This month will feature talks from:

• Martin Conte Mac Donell: Behind the Screens: Uncovering what users see when they use your app without compromising privacy nor bandwidth.
• Juan Arzola: Bleeding edge SwiftData with iCloud Sync and Swift Concurrency: an offline first study app journey

🕓 Schedule:

• 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM: Grab some snacks, meet people and find a seat.
• 7:30 PM: Presentations start.
• 9:00 PM: The conversation continues as we are move to a nearby bar.

🤝 Networking: Reconnect with old friends and make new ones! This is your chance to network with fellow Swift developers, exchange ideas, and make great connections.

• Kandji is located across the street from the Salesforce Tower, on the corner of Mission Street and 1st Street.

Parking

• There are public parking lots on the surrounding streets.
• We do not provide validation for parking.

BART & Muni

1. Take any train or bus that is heading towards San Francisco.
2. Get off at Montgomery Station.
3. Exit the station and head northeast on Market Street toward Sutter Street.
4. Turn right onto 1st Street.

Walking

1. Head southwest on 1st Street towards Mission Street.
2. he primary building entrance is on the corner of Mission Street and 1st Street.

Check-in

• When you arrive at the building, please check in at our table in the lobby with a valid ID.
• After checking in, we will escort you up to the 4th floor.
