Smart Cities Security

Details

Starting from the modern definition of what a smart city is, we will explore what technological and societal pitfalls lie in a wide deployment and acceptability of smart cities. Security in its various facets represents one of the key challenges, but also opportunities, to rethink and adapt existing strategies and approaches when designing and implementing cybersecurity and privacy aware solution.
This conference on Smart City Cybersecurity will also explore the crucial need for transversal awareness across all sectors, questioning the foundations and usage of technology in urban environments. We'll compare successes and failures of various cities, highlighting best practices and pitfalls. Join us to discuss strategies for enhancing digital safety, ensuring robust, citizen-centric smart cities that are resilient against cyber threats.
