Poppies and a brew

Back by popular demand.

This outing is limited to 15, so we are not getting in one another photos. If It fills up and has a waiting list, I can schedule a second one for the next day.

Scheduling this outing later for evening light. We will meet at the First Bank parking lot at 5125 S Kipling St and carpool to the field.

The poppy field is not a tidy cultivated field. There are plenty of weeds and you need to be able to negotiate a short down/up hill to get to them and back to the car. It is very short, and is not paved.

Things to know:
1. You can use a tripod
2. A small 3-leg stool is nice to have and or knee pads.
3. Wear sturdy shoes
4. Long pants recommended
5. Consider taking bug spray
6. No restroom facilities
7. Going out for a brew (or whatever interests the group) after is optional and up to those attending.

I like to use my macro lens, however the photo above was shot with my 70-200.
