How many times has UX research concluded that the product isn’t solving a need? Or is solving the wrong need? But it's too late and we need to ship NOW! To be impactful as UX researchers our work needs to influence product strategy, not just comment on it.

Join us as we explore how to combine methods to get UX research out as the detail to influencing product.

The three step process starts with the Kano prioritisation model. Developed in the 80s it's tried and tested for decades. We use data from a feature desirability survey to challenge stakeholder views. Wrapping things up by answering the most important question of all: why?

We'll share stories and case studies from real projects. Reflecting on how this method has shifted opinions, influenced product and business strategy.

Speaker Bio:
Jack Holmes is an independent UX researcher & designer from Bristol. Over the last 10 years he's worked on projects ranging from banking apps to Nandos sauce bottles. Jack is a big fan of tapas and is on a mission to find the best croqueta in Bristol.
