Hi, this group is to bring awareness to all the local environmental community groups that are happening in our areas. If you are an existing organiser, than I can add you to this group for you to add the dates and locations for your projects. The Sydney Eco Community Hub Meetup group can be another tool for you to get the word out about what is happening and how we can all help out in our local areas. This will be a great way too for us to make new friends and bring community back to our local areas whilst helping out with the environment.

The Great Spring Clean Up is back! It is happening nationwide during September & October.
This initiative will tackle litter in our cities, streets, parks and waterways and improve our environment.
Particularly important at this time of the year before severe weather season kicks in across different parts of the country.
Now is the perfect time to get involved with and do your bit to help Clean Up.
Let's clean up Coogee Beach.

Please bring water, gloves, sunscreen, hand sanitiser, hat and raincoat/windbreaker.I'll bring the bags and have the ADMI app to enter in our data after we have collected the rubbish (see below for more information). I'll also bring a tarp to put the rubbish on and some containers so that the rubbish doesn't blow away when we enter the data.

We will also collect data as part of the Australian Marine Debris Initiative https://tangaroablue.org/about-amdi/. We separate the rubbish and count each bundle to provide the data to AMDI.Collecting the data: https://tangaroablue.org/clean-ups/ using the ADMI app so that we can provide our data.
