ENGLISH Lets have a picnic at Botanical gardens. Same spot as previous years under the shade of the enormous pine tree with a tiny palm tree next to it, close to the harbour. (Directly south of the main pond at the pointy end). It's near the column sculpture called The Choragic Monument of Lysicrates at the bottom of the main pond near Flower Bed Lawn. Look for a gigantic pine tree with a skinny little palm tree next to it as shown in the picture above. Please arrive from 12.00 and aim to be there so we can all eat at 1.00pm so we can all share the food. Please bring food and drink to share. (Home made is encouraged - and of course anything French!). Also bring, picnic rugs and eating utensils cups and bottle openers. We can make a long banquet table with extra picnic rugs and sit on either side of it. Don't forget to bring sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat! Also boules or other games if you have them. Should the weather be rainy we will meet at our usual tables at Central Park and have the picnic there. Looking forward to seeing you there. If you get lost, call me on[masked]. Closest entry from trains is alight at Martin Place station then enter from entrance, cnr Macquarie st near State Library. It's 15m longer walk via Circular Quay. Cheers, Michelle
