What weโre about
Join a group of likeminded Snorkelling and freediving enthusiasts. Join us here and on Facebook where you can connect and engage with the community between dives https://www.facebook.com/share/g/hrN5XcUgQmFpZJAq/
We will try to meet each weekend at one of the many fantastic Snorkelling locations across Sydney and the occasional road trip further afield. Our home base will be Shelly Beach at Manly, as it would have to be, arguably, the best place in Sydney to snorkel. Other sites will include; Clovelly, Gordon's Bay, Freshwater, Chowder Bay, Little Bay, Malabar, Maroubra, Bare Island, Fairlight Beach and many others. The calm waters of Shelly Beach are ideal for the beginner and advanced alike. We would love for you to join our group and come explore the many underwater treasures Sydney has to offer.

From here it is a relatively flat walk for about an hour and a half to Hanging Rock. There are some amazing views and photo opportunities once we reach the rock and surrounds. A climb onto the rock is not to be missed by the more adventurous. We can enjoy our lunch here.
Head back to our cars, then a refreshing dip in a nearby rockpool fed by an amazing waterfall.
Final stop will be Lincolnโs Rock and the hidden sunset cave. We will all get some photos like the one above, enjoy the sunset, then head for home. Those that are keen, we can stop off at The Lapstone Hotel for dinner.

๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ Snorkel with grey nurse sharks at Bushrangers Bay. ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ
It really is quite the experience snorkeling so close to these amazing gentle creatures. Hopefully there will be plenty of them about.
Bushrangers Bay is located at Bass Point near Shellharbour, approx 85km or an hour and three quarters south of Sydney. It is a Marine Reserve, with plenty of sea life. We should be able to car pool to organise transport. Please feel free to post up messages here if you require or are able to offer a lift.
We can have lunch at Shellharbour Ocean Beach Hotel afterwards.

Snorkelling from Oak Park to Salmon Haul Bay, Cronulla.
We can meet at the end of Jibbon Street at 9:30am.
https://goo.gl/maps/cpP8w1NDVv52
This time is close to the peak of the high tide where the visibility should be best and the current at its lowest.
Feel free to stay around Oak Park if you don't feel confident with the snorkel to Salman Haul Bay. Or if it is rough there, feel free to walk round to Salmon Haul Bay where it is much more protected and meet us there.
It's an easy entry point to the right of the rock pool. We can explore here for awhile before we head off on our journey.
Once we reach our destination we can again explore for awhile then head back to Oak Park via the costal walking track.
We can grab a coffee and something to eat after at a nearby cafe. Or follow the path to Cronulla.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
