Beginners Guide to Sydney Stoics (Online)

Have you wanted to attend Sydney Stoics but felt a bit hesitant? Perhaps you think we’re all academic experts? Guess what—we’re not! We are just a super casual, welcoming group of people who love exploring Stoic ideas together, and we would love to have you join us.

What We’ll Cover

• Stoicism 101: A brief overview on Stoicism
• How the Group Works: An overview of our meeting formats. The regular Discussion groups and Stoicism in Practice events
• Where We Meet: A quick guide to our regular Sydney locations and how to find us
• What we are reading: where to find free versions online and hard copies if preferred.
  We love having different translations of the same text available to discuss the different nuances—if you want to buy your own copy or find a free version online.
• Q&A: A chance to ask any newbie questions in a safe space.

The goal of this session is to give you the confidence to attend our in-person Meetups. There is no pressure to speak and no prior reading is required. Just come along, and see what we’re all about.
