What we’re about
Welcome to Sydney Eats Walk Social Adventure & Urban Explorers!
The place where Sydney’s bold, curious, and fun‑loving individuals come together to live life with more flavour. We walk the city, taste its best bites, and turn ordinary days into social adventures.
I like bringing people together. I’m an explorer and quite adventurous. I don’t always know exactly where I’m going, but I always find a way. And honestly, that’s part of the fun. We figure things out together as a group, discovering new streets, new flavours, and new connections along the way.
This group is for anyone who wants to break routine, meet new people, and explore Sydney with energy and excitement. We move, we eat, we laugh, we discover — all at a relaxed, social pace that makes it easy to connect.
Expect vibrant streets, hidden gems, spontaneous conversations, and a crew that loves saying yes to new experiences. Every event is a chance to add spice into your life and step into a more adventurous version of yourself.
We’re not just walking or eating. We’re:
- Exploring neighbourhoods
- Discovering hidden gems
- Moving our bodies
- Connecting with interesting, open-minded people
- Saying yes to new experiences
This group is best suited to people who:
- Are generally 40+ (late 30s welcome)
- Enjoy walking, spontaneity, and discovery
- Are comfortable adapting if plans or weather change
- Take personal responsibility and show up with a positive mindset
If you’re ready to explore more, taste more, and live more — you’re in the right place.
As this group grows, a few simple guidelines help ensure everyone has a positive experience.
1. Group movement & pacing
We’re a big, energetic group, and I’ll do my best to keep us together. Everyone walks at a different speed, and people may pause or drift. If you need to stop (toilet break, rest, etc.), please let me or someone nearby know. If we don’t know where you are, the group may continue without you. If we’re catching public transport, please note that buses and ferries will not wait.
2. Personal responsibility
This event is a social adventure group, not a guided tour or school excursion. You’re responsible for:
- Your own safety
- Your fitness level
- Staying with the group
- Checking the weather forecast and coming prepared (comfortable shoes, layers, umbrella if needed)
Weather changes happen, so being adaptable is part of the adventure.
3. Leaving early
You’re welcome to leave at any time for any reason, tiredness, weather, pace, or personal preference. Please let me know if you’re heading off. If I don’t hear from you, I’ll assume you’ve chosen to leave and won’t search for you.
4. Shared leadership & care
Everyone is encouraged to look out for one another. If you notice someone falling behind, feel free to check in with the person. If I’m walking too fast, please let me know.
5. Creating the vibe together
I do my best to make everyone feel welcome, but inclusion works best when we all participate. Say hello, start conversations, and help create the experience you want to be part of. Most importantly, enjoy the adventure 🌟.
