SyncNorwich's Startup Pitch event!

We bring you a series of intriguing and innovative startups ready to disrupt industries, from women's sports to on-demand fitness, social travel, sign language technology, and content creation.
We kick off with networking over pizza and beer at 6 pm, swiftly followed by presentations from our ambitious startup founders, including Gemma Johnston, Adam Smith, Mark Merrywest, Adrian Pickering, and Blaise Hope.

This engaging lineup of pitches will be followed by a Q&A and a vote for the Best Pitch. Post-event, you're welcome to join us at the pub or head home.

After hearing from over 400 women about the barriers that prevent them from participating or progressing in sport we are now taking action.
We believe everyone should have the chance to find the sports they love and we’re here to help you do that. Our platform connects you with like-minded women, content and businesses from across the industry. It is designed to guide you to find the sports and activities that ignite your passion and push your limits.

Speaker Gemma Johnston is the founder, she quit her job to start up this new platform for women’s sports.

Adam Smith the founder of Ondemandfitness. A contractor in project management, with experience in all aspects of IT delivery and has a passion for fitness. In 2015 he was part of a team who cycled across Australia for charity.

Yond is reimagining the way we find and book travel experiences for the social generation. We link the brilliant content creators around the world with the people booking hotel rooms using an exciting new approach.

Mark Merrywest is the founder and a Business Analyst / Product Manager with a 20 year career in development, marketing and business.

Robotica is an audiovisual machine learning, comprehension, translation,
and synthetic presentation services company. Our accessibility products and services enable you to deliver equality and access of information and services to the Deaf community.

Pitching will be Founder Adrian Pickering. Adrian started coding aged seven. With close to 40 years’ programming experience, Adrian still codes almost every day. He has a special interest in artificial intelligence and is the creator of Robotica Machine Learning and Evagene.
