Hosted By

Details
This class will review the basics of SSH and how it is far more secure when
using a private/public key instead of a password. We'll review the encrypted handshake process between a client and a server, how to generate your own key, and the benefits of ed25519 keys vs RSA. Finally, we'll have mini-workshop on generating your own key and installing it on a test server set up especially for the class.
Students should bring a wifi enabled laptop to participate in the class.
We'll be providing a PDF copy of the slides, and have a test server setup for class access.
