Free Improv Workshop - Beginners Welcome! (Unlimited Space)
Click Stream Studios, 689 N Clinton St, Syracuse, NY, USUNLIMITED SPACE
You’re invited to the next Free Syracuse Improv Workshop! Join us for a fun, low-pressure night of learning and practicing improv on stage. No prior experience required. Just show up ready to play, learn, and meet some cool people.
You’ll do fun games, learn fundamental improv skills, and get on your feet with other participants in a supportive, welcoming environment.
All of our workshops go roughly like this:
- Brief introductions and warm-up games
- A short lesson on the skills we'll be drilling that day
- A few acting games designed to help you practice that skill
- A guided improv performance near the end of the workshop
And yes, if you attend regularly, you will either become the funniest or the most annoying person in your office. Often both.
Meetup limits us to 10 people unless we pay them a zillion dollars, so if the event says “full” feel free to ignore that and show up anyway.

Improvised Dungeons & Dragons
The Song & Dance, 115 E Jefferson St, Syracuse, NY, USSyracuse Improv presents: Improvised Dungeons & Dragons
Buy Your Tickets Now!Monday, April 13 at The Song & Dance
For one night only, Syracuse Improv is premiering a brand-new live comedy event: Improvised Dungeons & Dragons, a fast, funny, fantasy adventure created right in front of you.
Here’s how it works:We bring someone up from the audience, learn a little about their real life, and then our cast transforms that into a completely improvised fantasy quest. The hero might be based on them. The villain might be based on someone from their life. The world, the stakes, the characters, the chaos? All built live.
And yes, the audience gets to help shape the madness. Throughout the show, you’ll have chances to influence the adventure with suggestions, magical items, spells, twists, and other questionable decisions that our performers will have to deal with on the spot.
This is not a hardcore tabletop session. You do not need to know anything about D&D to enjoy it. This show is comedy-first, interactive, and beginner-friendly, built for improv fans, fantasy lovers, curious weirdos, and anyone who wants a different kind of night out.
Expect:
improvised characters and ridiculous fantasy problems- Audience interaction
- Big comedic swings
- A bar-night atmosphere
- A show that will only happen once
- Fantasy attire is strongly encouraged.
If you’ve got a wizard robe, cloak, armor, elf ears, a wand, a sword, we want you to dress up and drink your face off (responsibly. It's a school night.)
Whether you’re a longtime improv fan, a D&D nerd, or just looking for a fun night out with friends, come be part of Syracuse Improv’s newest flagship show.
Tickets are on sale now. Grab yours before they’re gone.1 attendee
