World Cup is finally here! I'm new to Syracuse and it sucks watching these wonderful games alone so I'm calling all soccer fans in the area to join the Watch Party Crew!
Whether you're a die-hard supporter of your national team or just love the beautiful game, this group is all about great matches, good vibes, cheering (and friendly banter), and making new friends!
We'll be garthering to watch as many games as possibole together throughout the entire tourament, from the group stage through the knockouts and all the way to the final. We're kicking things off strong with the USA vs Paraquay on Friday 6/12 at 9pm, an excellent evening game to start the adventure!!!!!!
Since I'm not Syracuse local YET, I don't have a fixed venue locked in yet. I'm very open to suggestions from members, sport bars, pubs with big screens or any welcoming spot in syracuse that can host a lively group. Let's find the best places together.
Important note: Meetup limits us to 10 people, so if the event says "full", feel free to ignore that and shoot me an email to dainotdie@yahoo.com. After we have a confirmed location, I will email all members.
