Advent At The Table: Do Not Fear?

This week, we begin our Advent journey. The Table Public House will close at 6 for an employee holiday celebration, so we will meet from 5-6 and skip our usual meal time together.

This Advent, we will be using materials from A Sanctified Art to explore how the good news of Christ's birth was set against a time of instability and uncertainty. As Jesus entered the world, we hear the whispers of angels delivering a surprising message: “Do not fear.” When we find ourselves in fearful times, can we acknowledge our fears while also insisting on hope?
