Art Journaling/Paper Play: Leaf printing extravaganza!

Fall moves our attention to the beauty of leaves. We’ll have an assortment of
techniques to capture their form. The small papers we’ll create will work well as images, tags or clusters to put in your journal. They will also be perfect for cards or for an accordion book or to ornament your refrigerator or bulletin board.
We’ll provide trays with the instructions plus the tools, paints, inks and other supplies for each method. You’ll chose a method, try a few leaves, then return the tray to take another to try another method. Included will be acrylic ink flows, brayer on the leaves and on gelli plates, leaf masking with stamping ink, fresh leaf pressure printing and more.

To bring:
Leaves: smallish ones to fit you final piece or into your journal
Variety of papers to print, including a bit of watercolor or mixed media paper, a few book pages, craft paper and copy paper.
Also decorative paper or card stock for mounting prints or items for clusters.
If you wish to work on your own gelli plates or with your own brayers, bring them.
A protective mat or table covering.
Paper cutter, glue, scissors, acrylic paints in your colors if you wish.
We’ll have extras.

If you miss a session and do not cancel before the 48 hour window, you will still be responsible for all class fees.

Community members who have not paid annual dues: you are welcome to attend up to three events, two paid. Because we have no way to contact people who have not officially joined TACG other than through Meet-up, our policy is as follows: If you have not paid one week prior to this class or event, we reserve the right to cancel your registration and remove you as an attendee. This allows us to open seats for others, and respect the preparation needs of our instructors and facilitators. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.*
