Hello tacowhands!

We're back again this May 14th with more iOS dev excitement.

Something new this time: the good folks at RayWenderlich.com have kindly donated two books for us to give away: Server Side Swift with Vapor, and iOS Apprentice.

What's the catch, you say? Well, in order to be eligible to win one of the books, you need to give a lightning talk at the meetup! 5-15 minutes on the topic of your choice: a new app, something cool you learned, or just a general show and tell. Email me to volunteer ahead of time!

At the last meetup we also had some interest in a talk on careers in iOS development. Please email me with questions you have about starting and growing your career and I'll put something together.

Also, thanks to the good folks at TunnelBear for paying our Meetup.com fees for the next 6 months! Check them out at tunnelbear.com for app info and job openings.

Presenting
Are you looking for a job but don't have much work experience? Giving a presentation at tacow is a great way to demonstrate your abilities and make connections in the community.

Interested in giving a lightning talk about a new learning or side project? Let me know! A full talk? Even better!!

Feedback and suggestions are always appreciated!

Cheers,
Robin
