What we’re about
I’m wondering if anybody in Tahlequah would be interested in starting a book club? Something low stress, maybe one book a month, with possibly a democratic process for choosing the book of month, an agreed upon online recommendation, or even just take turns picking?
I think it might be fun to have people to discuss books with, share ideas, and maybe even get some good recommendations. My only hope is for people who are open minded. I’m down to read anything from non-fiction to romance to classics to graphic novels, horror, sci-fi, poetry—you name it, we can read it!
I’m an IT guy, not an English professor, so there’s no expectation of first class literary analysis. I’ll even go first (which should start the bar at a very comfortable height) and I don’t have any expectation for you to speak in front of the group if you just want to listen to people discuss the book you just read.
