What we’re about

Tai Chi (or Taiji) could be defined as an internal martial art and meditative practice through intentional movements and conscious breathing that balances our energies and seeks harmony of yin and yang.

Our classes consist in practicing the Yang style forms both Cheng Man-Ching Yang short form via Patrick Kelly, Yang Cheng Fu long form and the five loosening exercises by Huang Sheng Shyan.

We also practice push hands to develop sensitivity and sitting meditation to integrate body, mind and spirit. Beyond the martial arts foundation and resulting health benefits, we focus on the embodiment of spirituality in our training.

Our Tai Chi lineage: Yang Lu Chan, Yang Cheng Fu, Cheng Man-Ching, Huang Sheng Shyan, Patrick Kelly.

Tai Chi Instructor is Gregor Matsuda Tavares, who has been practicing martial arts for more than 20 years and has trained with Patrick Kelly in China during 5 years and continues to learn from his teachings worldwide.
