What we're about

It's been a difficult year, but now it's time to start feeling good again. So find your own peaceful source for health and fitness... with us. Every Saturday we explore movement and breathing, better health and a calm mind through the ancient Chinese practices of Tai Chi and Qigong (pronounced CHEE-gung). This exercise combines slow, deliberate movements, meditation, and breathing exercises.

In this 45 minute class learn we'll work on sets including:

Ba Duan Jin (Silk Brocade)

5 Animals Qigong

The Yang 24 Tai Chi form

And more..

It's intriguing, it's expansive, and our goal is good health, better balance and coordination, and getting our mind and body to moving together. We use this time to take a break from all the challenges clamoring for our attention. So join us.

North Sky Kung Fu is a center for Chinese Martial Arts, and you'll love our vibe. Our instructors have spent decades committed to the power of Chinese martial arts. They share their love of martial arts in every class. Sifu Julie teaches our online program. Our classes are free to try for a few weeks. If, after joining us a few times, you like our practice and our group, we ask for a contribution of $10 a class (or $5 for those who are challenged financially right now.) It's what let's us keep teaching.

We've moved our Tues/Thurs. Tai Chi class online and you're invited. This is a bit more advanced than our Saturday class but you can alway follow along. We start with a Qigong warmup, then work on the Yang and Wu style Tai Chi forms. The class is approximately 40 minutes. While online Tai Chi has its limitations, it's a chance to focus on your beathing, get centered, work on Tai Chi basics, and feel good as we wait to get back to the world.
