This meeting is in person in our studio on 29th Street. We start with a Qigong warmup, Tai Chi basics, and the practice and learning of the Yang 24 Tai Chi form. We start with this classic Yang 24, and them move on to the "Wu system" - elegant, slow, powerful. The Yang 24 introduces all the basic Tai Chi elements and you'll get a good sense of what makes Tai Chi so special. Stick with it, and you can your way your way to sword, saber, cane, fan and more!

Depending on who is attending, we end class with a Qigong set suitable for the moment (5 Elements, 13 Luohan or something else intriguing.) Of course, "Push Hands" is part of any Tai Chi system, and we often end the class by exploring Tai Chi moves with a partner.

This meetup in intended to give you space to focus - on breathing, on your body, your mind, and on your health - without distractions. We relax and move with awareness and balance.
