About us
Welcome to Taichung Wild & Cultured — a small, genuine community for people who love both the outdoors and the finer things in life.
We are a local Taichung couple — an artist and tea enthusiast whose father is a senior tea master, and an outdoor sports entrepreneur. We started this group because we love meeting people from different parts of the world and sharing what we know about Taiwan — the wild side and the cultured side.
What we do:
We organize small, intimate gatherings where real conversations happen. No big crowds, no awkward networking. Just good people, good food, and good experiences.
Our events include:
🍵 Tea afternoons — rare Taiwanese high mountain oolong brewed at home, paired with snacks from around the world
🏕️ Outdoor adventures — hiking, camping, rock climbing, fishing, and pickleball around Taichung and beyond
🎨 Arts & culture exchanges — music, art, traditional Chinese culture including tea ceremony and kunqu opera
🌏 Casual hangouts — good food, good conversation, and genuine connection
