What we’re about
Seeing a movie is a way to see the culture and a way to discover the information that movie makers want to transmit. This is a meetup group for people who want to discover different cultures via a good quality or independent/ foreign film. The interesting part is not only to enjoy the projection of films but also to exchange ideas afterwards in a bar or café!
No need to be an expert of movies; we welcome people from all backgrounds.
Non commercial movies are not easy to encounter in Taipei and not all your friends are interested in them like you do. Here we share information about current interesting movies/ film festival or cultural activities and we gather up for it. Each one buy his/her own ticket, and after the projection/ activity, we can go for a beer, wine or cafe to exchange our thoughts (in a quasi-language/ culture exchange way). We might also hold language/ culture exchange activities for new friends who just arrive the city and wants to learn the local culture/ language.
