We start at Somewhere Bar, near Liuzhangli MRT.

Our hosts help with introductions and bring people into conversations naturally.

You’ll usually meet a mix of travelers, international students, expats, working holiday visitors, newcomers, business travelers and Taiwanese locals.

English and Mandarin are both naturally spoken.

This is a social night focused on meeting people and making friends — not a structured language exchange.

### Can I come alone?

Absolutely.
Many guests come alone, and our hosts will welcome you and help with introductions.

### Where can I meet people in Taipei on Friday night?

Taipei Weekend Social runs every Friday at Somewhere Bar in Da’an District from 7:30–10:00 PM.
Afterward, guests who want to continue can join our local host for a night out at MAJI Square or Xinyi.

### Is this only for solo travelers and expats?

No.
International students, working holiday visitors, business travelers, newcomers, remote workers and Taiwanese locals are all welcome.

### Is this a language exchange?

No.
English and Mandarin are naturally spoken, but there are no language tables or lessons.
The focus is meeting people and making friends.

### Do I have to join the night out after 10 PM?

No.
The hosted night out is completely optional.

### Do I need to drink alcohol?

No.
Non-alcoholic drinks are available.

### How much is it?

NT$400 per person, including one drink.
