I started this daily gathering because I was tired of the limitations of working in Taipei’s cafés. For example, have you ever arrived at a popular café only to find every seat taken, or ended up stuck next to a loud group while trying to focus? It’s frustrating to feel isolated in a crowded room where no one shares your lifestyle.

So I chose Tea Bar. It is a very Foreigner-Friendly spot with incredibly kind staff and regulars.

  • When: Daily | 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM+
  • Where: Tea Bar (Near MRT Liuzhangli)
  • Entry: Min Spend NT$200 drink.

  • You are looking for an organized event: There is no host on-site to introduce people. (This is not a typical social mixer).
  • You are expecting a large crowd: We focus more on quality space than a packed house.
  • You expect people to proactively chat with you: Most guests are here to focus on their own tasks; it is not a place where social interaction is guaranteed.

我之所以發起這個活動，是因為我受夠了在咖啡館工作的局限。舉例來說：你是否曾跑遍咖啡廳卻發現完全沒位子？或好不容易坐下來，隔壁桌卻非常吵鬧讓你無法專注？ 在擁擠的空間裡卻感到孤立，這種感覺並不自在。
因此我選擇了 Tea Bar 作為據點。這是一個對外國人非常友善 (Foreigner-Friendly) 的店家，店員和熟客都非常親切。
