Taipei Co-working Afternoon for Expats, Remote Workers & Students
Details
# Tuesday & Thursday Co-working · Taipei (No Host): A calm co-working space for expats, remote workers, freelancers, students, and newcomers in Taipei.
If you’re looking for a chill place to focus, study, plan your week, or work beside friendly people, this session is made for you.
These Tuesday & Thursday sessions run without a host — the Tea Bar staff will greet you when you arrive and help you settle in.
I personally host only the Sunday co-working meetup, so join that one if you prefer a guided, social vibe.
🕒 4:30–7:00 PM
🎟 NT$200 per person, with one drink included
📍 Tea Bar · Daan District
## 🌱 Why join?
Sometimes you just want:
- a chill, focused environment
- people around you (without needing to talk)
- a place to study, read, or plan your week
- the chance to meet people who share your lifestyle
Many attendees naturally end up meeting people like themselves — remote workers, students, newcomers — and some become good friends simply by showing up regularly.
## 💡 Why this is better than a coffee shop
Coffee shops often feel:
- too noisy
- crowded
- unstable to stay long
- hard to find seats
Here, you get:
- guaranteed work-friendly seating
- a quiet, comfortable atmosphere
- a space where everyone is here to focus
- freedom to stay after the event
- a soft community vibe without pressure
And honestly — I overthink a lot when I work alone.
But when I work beside others, I focus more naturally.
If you’re like me, come join. It helps more than you think.
## 💻 What you can do
- co-working or co-studying
- reading or weekly planning
- light conversations during breaks (optional)
- darts or simple card games downstairs
- simply enjoy a peaceful afternoon at your own pace
No pressure to socialize — you choose your own rhythm.
## 🪴 What the space feels like
### 2F — Main Co-working Area
- ~15 sofa-style seats
- quiet, laptop-friendly
- soft music, relaxed atmosphere
### 1F — Chill Zone
- a few seats for light work
- darts & simple games
- a place to stretch or take a break
👉 Seats are limited — arriving early helps you get a proper workspace.
## 🎯 Great for you if you’re:
- an expat or newcomer
- a remote worker or freelancer
- a student or self-learner
- planning your week
- looking for calm, friendly spaces in Taipei
- someone who focuses better around others
## 🌿 A quick note
I’m testing this Tuesday & Thursday format for a few weeks.
If people enjoy it and the vibe feels right,
I’ll turn it into a regular weekly co-working event.
Let’s slowly build a warm, supportive co-working community in Taipei —
for people who want focus, comfort, and maybe a few new friends too.
