Huzzah! The next TAIWAN VIRTUAL REALITY MEETUP is scheduled for Saturday, August 11, 2018; we begin at 2:30pm and end by 5:30pm or so or earlier.
These meetups are conducted in ENGLISH.
No, you do NOT need to have any previous experience with Virtual Reality to attend.

Brief Description: David Huang and Huang Hsin attended the VR Hackfest 2018 and were thrown into a group. Come hear what they learned in the day Hackfest. They will talk about some of the interesting ideas of other teams. They will of course showcase their VR Hackfest game too - video at https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10156492459827173&id=601582172 - a multiplayer VR + AR game with two players in Virtual Reality on the HTC Vive against 6 Augmented Reality players.

After any presentations, we will have the following VR sets on hand for folks to try out ("as available"):
"HTC Vive VR" demonstration.
"Oculus Rift VR" demonstration.
"PSVR (Playstation VR)" demonstration.
"Windows Mixed Reality VR" demonstration.

Additional program possibilities may include:
"VR Demonstration Time" is when folks are free to share demonstrations of virtual reality or related programs.
"Open VR Social" meet and greet in which you can meet others, network, or just generally discuss or share your favorite viewers, software, content, or whatever.
"More Topics May Be Added" - contact the host (Brian David Phillips) if you would like to be added with a topic of your own.

We do take attendance. If you register to attend and do not show up, we have a record. If you can’t come, then take yourself off the list in a timely manner. It’s the polite thing to do.
