Taiwan VR Meetup for October 2020
Details
We have a new TAIWAN VIRTUAL REALITY MEETUP scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2020; we begin at 2:30pm and end by 5:30pm or so or earlier.
These meetups are conducted in ENGLISH.
No, you do NOT need to have any previous experience with Virtual Reality to attend.

TOPIC: Let's Take A Look at the Oculus Quest 2! Good, bad, and in between.

DESCRIPTION: Brian David Phillips will introduce the Quest 2 by Oculus and discuss differences between the Quest 2 and the original Quest. We will highlight advantages in the new headset as well as disadvantages. Is this really a good first headset? What about upgrading Worth it? We will have a couple Quest 2 headsets on hand . . . however, participants in the Meetup who have them are encouraged to bring along their own Quest or Quest 2.
NOTE: The Presentation on the Rogy camera system will NOT be part of this month's program. We are very sorry for the last minute cancellation. It could not be helped.
As presentation topics are added, they will be added here (want to share? contact the Brian David Phillips).
After any presentations, we will have the following VR sets on hand for folks to try out ("as available"):
"HTC Vive VR" demonstration.
"Oculus Quest 1 & 2 VR" demonstration.
"PSVR (Playstation VR)" demonstration.
Perhaps others.

Exit from SYS Memorial MRT Station, Exit 1. When you see Starbucks, make a right turn into the alley, and then after you pass 7-11, make your first left. When you reach the CTS building with the Chin Chin cafe, take the elevator to the 11th floor, and look for the office with the "PicCollage" sign.
