Starting the am with a five mile hike: 9am-11am(ish)

5.1M - 700+/- elevation

Easy/moderate hike - 2 hours https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/east-shore-and-ridgeline-loop

Followed by 2 hours of paddling...Stand-up paddle boarding or kayaking. You must bring all your own gear or the lake rents kayaks if you don't have your own.

I suggest planning your reservation if you want to rent a kayak. The estimated start time is 12 pm.

You are responsible for yourself on the water! PFD's are required.

Bring lunch, water, hat, sunblock, and good shoes.

A towel and extra clothes.

Come to either or both. Both activities start and end at the Del Valle Boat Ramp area.

There is a $6 per vehicle entrance fee to Del Valle Regional Park.
$3 to launch
$4 for inspection.

$13 total is payable to the parks when you enter.

RULES:

  • The hike will start ten minutes after the meeting time.
  • Stop at all trail junctions.
  • Do not leave the hike without advising the leader/leaders first.
  • Please be kind to one another.

Please have good shoes and water.
