What we’re about
Take a Thought for a Walk!
A 4-Hour Inquiry Workshop
Reconnect your mind and body in this unique experience that blends Inquiry with time in nature.
We’ll begin as a group to:
- Get to know each other!
- Introduce Inquiry and help you identify the thought you’d like to explore more
deeply. - Explore various techniques to support the mind-body connection.
Then, you’ll have 2 hours to head out to the trails for a walking/hiking Inquiry practice—on your own or with a partner from the group.
This is your time to move, reflect, and experience the clarity that comes from combining nature and movement with Inquiry.
Finally, we’ll reconvene for a final hour of integration, sharing, and Q&A.

Take a Thought for a Walk!
An Inquiry AdventureReconnect your mind and body in this unique experience that blends Inquiry with time in nature.
Take a walk with your thoughts—and leave with more clarity.
This isn’t your average hike. It’s a chance to gently move your body, slow down your mind, and experience how nature and self-inquiry work together to bring peace and insight. We’ll begin with a short grounding practice, then enjoy a gentle hike at your own pace. Along the way, you’ll be guided through simple self-reflection questions based on The Work of Byron Katie—a powerful tool for questioning stressful thoughts.
No experience with hiking or inquiry needed. You’ll leave feeling clearer, calmer, and more connected to yourself.

Hi, I’m Korinne Akridge, certified facilitator of The Work of Byron Katie and founder of Take Your Mind Outdoors. After walking through cancer treatment and burnout, I discovered that real healing happened not in my head, but on the trail. Now I guide others through the same process—step by step, thought by thought.
