Take a Photo Walk is a global community bringing together photographers, videographers, and content creators from all around the world 🌍
Our idea is simple: find your people through photography, wherever you are.
Right now, we’re exploring, walking, and creating together in Istanbul — one of the most inspiring cities to photograph ✨
Whether you’re new to the city, visiting, or have lived here for years, our walks are about connection, creativity, and seeing the city from new perspectives 🚶♀️🚶♂️
Who Can Join 🤍
Anyone with an interest in photography or videography is welcome.
Beginners, hobbyists, and professionals are all invited.
There’s no pressure and no competition — just shared curiosity and good conversations ☕️
All gear is welcome: smartphones, digital cameras, analog, Polaroid, or anything in between.

17:00 - Meet & Connect
We’ll gather at the meeting point, Barış Manço Kültür Merkezi in the heart of Moda. We’ll introduce ourselves and do a quick gear and settings check before heading out together.17:15 - Main Walk: Moda Portraits & Artsy Streets
We’ll explore the vibrant and artistic streets of Moda, known for its creative cafes, boutiques, colorful architecture, and relaxed neighborhood atmosphere.
We’ll focus on creative portraiture, environmental portraits, and street style, using the neighborhood’s architecture, details, and murals as natural backdrops.
Our walk will continue toward Moda Sahil waterfront, where we’ll capture sea-view portraits, Istanbul ferry backdrops, and golden-hour light.19:00 - Optional Drinks / Coffee
After the walk, we’ll head to a local Moda cafe for optional drinks or coffee.
