About us
We are an event series focusing on personal development through Social Adventures. We announce our events here, communicate in our Telegram channel at https://t.me/czc_vienna, and at lu.ma/talkin.
We believe that the best way to grow as a person is to get out of your comfort zone, and have fun along the way. You don’t think that’s possible? Come and join us and see for yourself!
Our core events are meetups, created & led by participants with guidance of the talkin’ team. Those are the events that have talkin' in it's name. Additionally you'll find events that originated around our core events, and are run by enthusiastic individuals of our community.
What are the core ideas of the events here:
- We want to give everyone a chance to get out of your comfort zone, because that's where you grow as a person.
- We create environments where you can socially experiment, and especially "joyfully fail". Failing is celebrated here.
- We want our events to be completely free (but a lot of times we organize our events at bars, therefore we should grab drinks there afterwards to make them happy so they welcome us again)
- Everyone working for talkin' is a volunteer.
- All our events are non-political
- Our events are generally non-professional, we're all amateurs. Obviously sometimes it happens that someone is more knowledgable or a professional, but this shouln't be the rule.
Contact our board in case you find something that is not repsecting the core ideas at [info@talkin.org](mailto:info@talkin.org)

Will you go viral? Improv for Social Media
Prater / Zirkuswiese, Prater, Vienna, ATCollaborative improv & storytelling for social media. This event is a collaboration between Social Rising & Social Adventures and will be announced on both channels.
Grab your camera, microphone(s), and other equipment you already have, (re-)start your CapCut subscription, and let's meet to create content. We'll meet outside in a park, which should allow us to both have enough space to create content with each other but also find other people to interact with (don't record without approval!).
Important: If you don't want to be in front of the camera, then don't join. You don't have to have social media, though.
After we meet, we first get to know each other and then create stories, improve them, record them for social media, edit them right there, and post them. What do you need?
- Motivation, and ideas for stories for social media
- A mobile phone or camera
- All equipment you have at home for filming: External/bluetooth microphones, prop, ...
- Editing software like CapCut or Filmora directly on your phone.
The event starts at 14:00 and lasts up to 2 hours.
We'll meet at Tiergarten at the following spot: https://maps.app.goo.gl/dzXw9NXMLAjBqBUE93 attendees

## Workshop Structure
First half:
Warm-up games and storytelling exercises to build energy, trust and spontaneity.
Second half:
Scene work. We’ll apply what we explored and create improvised moments together.
It’s interactive. You’ll be on your feet. You’ll participate.***
## Break & Sharing
You’re welcome to bring food and drinks to share during the break.
Let’s keep it relaxed and social. Improv works best when we connect not just on stage, but off stage.***
