talkin': Social Adventures in Vienna

This event is for everybody who has been to talkin' events before and is interested in helping with organizing these events.

The goal of talkin' is to provide a fun and relaxed environment where participants can experiment with social situations and get out of their comfort zones. While participants lead through most of the events themselves, a team of volunteers supports them and ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

This workshop will be set up just like a regular talkin' event. Together we will explore the skills that are needed for organizing these events. There will be fun exercises to give you the chance to practice moderating, coaching others on their event ideas, and learning the ins and outs of event logistics. There's also gonna be plenty of space to ask questions and discuss them with experienced talkin' members.

So no matter if you're already part of the team or if you're interested in helping out, join us and learn something new! Helping behind the scenes and taking responsibility for events is a great chance to grow your own confidence and expand your comfort zone.

The location is a private space close to U6 station Josefstädter Straße. It will be announced to you via private message if you RSVP to this event.

The event lasts up to three hours with a 15-minute break in between.

talkin' is a non-profit organisation, that is organized by amateurs and non-professionals.

Are you interested in improving your presentation skills? Want to become more comfortable speaking in front of people? Do you feel the need to enhance your creativity and connect better with your audience? Here, you'll have the opportunity to practice your presentation skills in a fun and creative environment like never before!

This evening, you will have the opportunity to participate at an event called PowerPoint-Karaoke: presenting slides that you've never seen before. There will be random short presentations but also special group presentations created for this event. And if you want to challenge yourself even more then there is the option of grabbing some additional feelings from the challenge box 😊.

Even if this sounds daunting, we encourage you to embrace the challenge and experiment in a fun and safe environment where you're allowed to fail! You're also welcome to join regardless of whether you want to present or simply observe. Expect a pressure-free atmosphere that encourages everyone to at least try and tap into their talent, as it's bound to be an enjoyable experience filled with improvisation.

We'll meet at Quentin Kaffeebar in Kaiserstraße 96. We'll be there from 7:00pm onwards and begin with the event at 7:15pm. You'll find us in the back where the beamer is. The event lasts around three hours with a 15-minute break in between.

This event is not affiliated with talkin', but originated out of the talkin' community and follows our basic requirements: It is a non-professional (amateur) event, without costs at any point, that gives you the opportunity to get out of your comfort zone. Therefore talkin' supports it by promoting it on our channels.
