Tampa AI Applications Meetup Group

This month we are going to talk CHAT Bots with a RAG database. We are going to look at creating a stand-along chat bot that can feed through your own RAG database to provide custom answers to your site visitors.

START OF UPDATE ———————————————————————————————
A COUPLE OF UPDATES:
I am working on a new location that would take more of us to about 30 members.

Also - My intent for this session is to demonstrate how I built in the new website chat functions into my new site Florida Spirit Trails. This will be the first Spirit Trail site for Florida combined with an AI Component. Take a look ahead if you would like - https://FloridaSpiritTrail.com
END OF UPDATE ——————————————————————————————

We will look at using Lovable or Bolt for the initial design, then move it over to Claude Code to build the project. For our database - We will look at using Airtable as a back-end user interface and Supabase as our Vector-based database. To accomplish this we will use N8N or Make.com to migrate data between the databases.

For this event - We are going to be size limited to 15 attendees. This will be held in the smaller room at ECC.

SIGN UP ONLY IF YOU WILL BE ATTENDING. No-Shows will be blocked from future events due to our size limitations.

This will be a fun topic.

I write books. This year I have written three AI Focused and have two more planned by the end of the year.

UPDATE: DUE TO FOLKS NOT SHOWING IN THE PAST - ECC has bumped us into the front room which only holds 20 people. So - I have set a size limit.

IMPORTANT: IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO ABSOLUTELY ATTEND PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP - THIS KEEPS OTHERS WHO MIGHT WANT TO ATTEND FROM PARTICIPATING.

I have worked Claude Code into my workflow. It helps me researching topics, organizing data, drafting outlines, and yes - drafting content. Many of my books are technical in nature and not "Creative". I am not the next Steven King. So the use of Claude and AI to assist me with developing topics, chapter ideas, organizing my content, and other tasks is extrodinarily useful.

In this session I will discuss these topics, and will also talk about Self Publishing on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

Right now our location is ECC in Tampa/Ybor city. Depending upon attendence this could change and the date could shift within a coulple of days.

Information about me:
I am a software, Database, SharePoint, and Network engineer, AI Orchestrator, and book author working in Tampa over 25 years. I have been writing or 11 years on a variety of topics and have self-published 15 titles on Amazon.
