Transforming from a Good to Great Product Owner.
Being a successful product owner requires more than hard skills such as being able to define the product strategy, create a product roadmap and prioritize the product backlog. It requires strong soft skills including communication, stakeholder management and decision-making.
The Product Owner job is perhaps the most demanding role in terms of responsibilities and daily duties. In this session, we will examine the DRIVEN traits of successful product owners as described from Geoff Watts in “Product Mastery – From Good to Great Product Ownership.”
We will discuss traits that can prevent people from doing a great job, such as procrastinating decisions out of fear of failure or perfectionism and how to overcome them, asking the right questions, leadership styles and more.
